We invite you to the seventh meeting of our interdisciplinary reading group “AI and Creativity”, on Tuesday, January 21st, at 11:00 AM. This time we will focus on AI and (post-)work. For this, we will discuss some passages from Nick Bostrom’s latest book “Deep Utopia. Life and Meaning in a Solved World”, and relate it to Ernst Bloch’s concept of concrete utopia (The Principle of Hope) as well as to Hannah Arendt’s reflections on labor and activity (The Human Condition). This group welcomes anyone interested in the intersection of technology, creativity, culture, and ethics. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, January 21st at 11am in Room M021 in Via Modena or on ZOOM (link will be sent around in due time), and explore and discuss this exciting topic with you.
