DH Day - 27 January 2026

27 January 2026
10:00am-12:30am Palazzo Grifoni
1:30pm-3:00pm Palazzo Grifoni & online

We are very pleased to invite you to the next DH Day, organised by the Digital Humanities Lab, on Tuesday, January 27. This hybrid event will be an opportunity to share ideas, explore tools, and discuss project proposals or ongoing work in the Lab. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to Digital Humanities, actively involved in a project, or simply curious to learn more.

This edition of DH Day will focus on transcription techniques and examples from current projects, with space for both practical reflection and open discussion.

Morning session (in person)
10:00–10:45 – Discussion on transcription techniques: approaches, tools, and challenges
10:45–12:30 – Open discussion
Palazzo Grifoni, ground floor (behind reception, please ring the bell)

Afternoon session (in person and Zoom)
13:30-15:00 – Open discussion
(Zoom link will be shared closer to the date)

DH Day is an open-format event rather than a series of lectures, so please feel free to bring questions, ideas, or specific research challenges related to transcription or your own projects. You are also welcome to join the online session at any time to listen in, ask a question, or start a conversation. We will share updates on the DH Lab and welcome your suggestions for future workshops and tool demonstrations.
